The Animal Party exhibition occurred at the Kamil Art Gallery for the 1st edition of the Monaco Art Week and lasted a month, from the 26 of April to the 25 of May.
This exposition reunites several paintings of Iranian Contemporary Art recently created, that join and float on the borders between strength and softness, familiarity and unknown, the poetic and literal sense combined with the ancient and the new.
We used to identify animals under human characteristics, which leaded the Iranian imagination of Shadi Rezaei, Negar Jahanbakhsh, Shaghayegh Shojaian and Ramtin Zad within their literary illustrations of ancient myths until their folk tales paintings.
